Platform is an artist-led studio group and contemporary art gallery based in East Belfast. Our role is to actively promote creative expression, presentation, and access to contemporary art practice through our Exhibition, Education and Studio Programmes. Platform has a number of studio spaces that are rented to our member artists in order to support their professional development as practising artists. We build our diverse exhibition programme and workshops through our annual open call and recently activated our window space called the Mouse Gallery. It provides artists with a space for smaller, more frequent exhibitions, getting its name from the small, door-shaped gap in the wall. It provides opportunities for artists outside of our scheduled exhibition calendar.
