HATCH is an artist-run space dedicated to books and printed objects. We promote slow publishing: books and posters, prints and objects—multiple, joyful, and thoughtful. The works we select employ unconventional techniques, invent new forms, and unfold unique worlds. By committing to a different kind of creation, imagining new modes of distribution, and mastering printing and scheduling, the artists, publishers, and collectives gathered here are shaping a more accessible, egalitarian, ecological, and socially responsible world for books and people.
