Brown Mountain Diamond supports and helps artists working visually, physically and in sound to develop ambitious art works. We provide artists with residential space, workshops, studios, outbuildings and land to use in order to do this. We organise space and time that artists can dedicate to their practice. Brown Mountain Diamond is a safe space in a very rural location. Artists can use time to think, discuss, feel, look and rest. New work can be set into motion, specific proposed projects can be carried out, artworks can take place. Brown Mountain Diamond applies for public funding, hosts residencies, makes community engaged art, maps the area and puts on dance parties.
